We are dedicated to breeding Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that have a good temperament, are sound, tractable, with a strong retrieving desire. Dogs that are easy for the average person to train and enjoy doing so. Dogs that 'Love to Work'!

We sell to Competition Homes, Hunters, and people who just want a Companion. We feel that everyone has the right to purchase the "Best Chesapeake", a Breeder has to offer.....no matter what their Lifestyle or how they plan to "Enjoy their Dog"!

Our dogs are our companions and hunted when possible. We love to train and compete with them and besides what better way to prove that you breed tractable dogs, than by training them & competing with them yourself!!

We have Trained & Titled 11 chesapeakes so far to the TOP Hunting Test level of MASTER HUNTER (all of which continued to compete in Master Tests even after earning their MH Title) .....it is at this level of competition that the trainability of your dog is proven, making him/her the ultimate hunting companion!

We are not a 'PUPPY FACTORY', we believe in breeding QUALITY not Quantity. We BREED FOR WORKING ABILITY - but LOOKS COUNT - proven by our Show Champion/Master Hunter Titled dogs! We choose a potential STUD carefully. We take into consideration not only his health clearances, pedigree & field accomplishments, but what he will contribute in temperament, soundness, retrieving desire and overall quality of the litter!

We spend a lot of time with our litters; socializing them, introducing them to all kinds of noises, places, birds, situations; water if weather permits. When your puppy leaves Nordom.......he/she is a healthy, happy, well adjusted pup.......ready, willing & eager to learn & excel at any endeavor"!
